I am passionate about teaching people of all ages to experience how the mind and body interact through Yoga.
Yoga incorporates breathing exercises, meditation and postures designed to energise and strengthen the body, promote relaxation and reduce stress.
Yoga is a constant dance between the breath and movement, and energy and calm.
I help my students achieve this by balancing energetic postures with stillness, so that throughout their daily activities they can learn to balance energy with calm.
My goal is to teach the students to remain focused and present in their bodies and the breath as they flow through the postures.
I teach the students the practice of meditation, becoming aware of the direction of their thoughts and then letting them go. This produces calmness and equanimity.
I teach them different breathing techniques to help them access calm and to use these techniques in their daily lives to manage stressful situations.
